Description

This gem of a whiskey was distilled in 2007, bottled in July 2023 aged in Pedro Ximénez puncheon hand-selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker. A beautiful burgundy in colour, the PX influence results in earth aromas of figs with cherries, plums and black forest fruits with flavours of cinnamon, dark chocolate and raisins. Rich, complex and syrupy, it's bottled at a robust 58%. Only 705 bottles available.

Producer

One of a few distilleries built to produce blending whisky. Founded by Mackinlay, McPherson and Co to provide malt whisky for Mackinlay blends. The distillery stands in the heart of Speyside, at the foot of Ben Rinnes and in relatively close proximity to Aberlour. Both whisky distilleries draw their water from springs in the mountains.
